There are many toilet cleaners available these days and companies are always telling us that there cleaner kills 99% of germs and works in half the time of other cleaners, adverts on TV constantly bombarding us with useless facts about little green monsters that live in the toilet bowl. Simply pour white vinegar into your toilet bowl and leave it to stand for half hour. When sufficient time has passed take a toilet brush and cover with baking soda use the brush to eliminate any remaining staining and flush away the dirt. You can use baking soda alone, although you must leave overnight to get any stubborn marks off, do this at bedtime to ensure no accidental flushing.
